Getting aircrews ready for disaster relief, getting more attention from CAP over the CHP thing, school, work, tests delayed by instructors, etc, etc, etc. That's been my whirlwind week.

Del Taco this weekend, Saturday, sounds great. Can't do Sunday, I have a Santa Rosa Memorial hospital shift at 3PM-11PM in the E.R. Makes Del Taco kinda hard to accomplish without getting up BUTT FUCKING EARLY.

A pair of VERY rude medics pissed me off yesterday as I pulled over for an accident. TRUE, I went on the median for 100 yards, and it did obstruct them briefly as they approached the scene, however they weren't even code 3 so how the hell are they supposed to be spotted when you can't see around all the other traffic behind you and they don't use the siren?? That's what it's there for, use the fucking thing?! So anyway somehow it gets back to the school that an EMT trainee used the median to access an accident and he knows it's me by the physical description and because he knows me and that I'm not the type to stand by, I'm much more pro-active. In the end, the Instructor sides with me saying it was a judgment call, and asks me a funny question about the medics that reported me... "Were they rude?" He knows that pair are assholes, that just confirmed it. I rest my case. Fuckers... OH, and guess what? I have my intern time with that SAME pair of medics, or have a 50/50 chance of it. Can you believe that shit? I'M PAIRED WITH THEM, and I already dislike them and even my instructor knows these guys are dicks. Fuck me... and you wonder why I needed a LONG walk last night at midnight in ball freezing cold to get rid of stress.
