Today, shortly after I arrived home, I was reminded of the best of humanity. Part of me is angry that someone so rare has an uphill battle ahead. Part of me is honored to know someone has a great opinion of me before ever meeting face to face, through my journal and Stace. All of me is sure she'll handle everything like the rare diamond she is. It's been a pleasure to meet you Lyn. You have friends on the west coast, always. We don't care about what anyone else has ever said, because we form our own opinions. You have our respect, and friendship. We'll be visiting you in the east, next. Or we'll just drag you out again. Either way, this isn't the only time you're seeing us =)

You're toooo lucky Matt, don't fuck it up. That's just plain and simple guy to guy advice. I know you'll do it right.

The audit went well too. 4 out of 5, an excellent initial rating. We'll see if that doesn't improve when the final report is written. Still a chance for an Outstanding rating. Found out our IG was former CHP. He retired after 2 shootings in 2 years. I would too probably.
