BUSY!

I've decided I had a male period last night. Everything's all good.

Gotta work, gotta plan a flight, gotta eat LIGHT lunch, gotta stay focused...

Got an aircrew put together for a mission in Kern County last night, missing para-glider near Black Mountain. Hope they find him/her and get back safe. Bad part of assigning aircrews is worrying about them like parents do children. You're thinking that if they get hurt YOU CALLED THEM AND ASKED THEM TO GO on the mission, so it's partly your fault. You called the pilots, you arranged for the crewmembers. Fly safe gents, see you on your return. Another plane was also dispatched from Santa Rosa. Good luck to them as well. With a little luck, we'll find this guy today and they'll be home for dinner.

Flying to Weaverville tonight via Red Bluff's VOR. Should be uneventful. If it's eventful, I'll be man-paste on the mountain side. Hmmmm, how do I assemble an aircrew if I need to be rescued??? MMMmmm, makes me hungry, I want hanburger now... Trip duration, 1.5 hours each way INCLUDING RUN UP TIME (where we test the plane with the engine on medium power to verify that it's running properly BEFORE we take-off). So kids, wish me luck in my first cross country round trip flight where I'm at the controls.
