Nanny's night.
Oct. 9th, 2003 09:39 pmIt's that time again, October 9th. I got a 96% on my Mid Term exam. I'm home 2 hours earlier then I thought. We had our drink to my Nanny that passed away 6 years ago. Black Velvet.
Stacey, I love you very much. Thank you for the card, your time and company, and the promised return of the Famous $2 bill. That $2 was Nanny's (my grandmother, more like a second mother while my mom was a drunk, Nanny took care of us)., and I gave it to Stacey to help remind her that someone loves her no matter what she ever does, because she's my family. Not by blood, but by choice. Stacey is my best friend, my platonic soulmate, and the best roommie a guy could have.
Jessie was awesome, picking up the famous BLACK VELVET at the little arab dude's store. Off to watch Top Gun now, one of Nanny's favorite movies... Here's a toast: To absent friends and family. Good night all.
