TODAY IS THE DAY...
Jan. 15th, 2004 09:52 amHad a mission come up Monday night right after the CAP meeting. We tracked the signal down within 15 minutes to a hanger at the Petaluma Airport. That's my second find at that airport, my first of the New Year. My last one was the Christmas Day mission. SO, I got the last of 2003, and first of 2004. NOT BAD! BUT, it sucked all my study time away, I didn't get home until 2am.
TODAY I FIND OUT IF I VOLUNTEER AS AN EMT, OR IF A COMPANY WILL PAY ME TO BE ONE. I don't know what'll happen, I really don't. I'm not confident this time around. 50 people applied, 6 positions total that are open. Some of these people have been EMT's in the past, most haven't. I don't know, I just want in and I don't know if I'll be hired. It's just a part time job. 2-5 shifts a MONTH, not a lot at all. BUT, I'd love to do it. I'm nervous and waiting to be disappointed. I'd love to throw my hands in the air screaming "YES!" when I get the position, but I don't think that's happening. SO, that's it. I'm just, waiting. HURRY UP AND WAIT, my least favorite game.
